Sorting my Craft Room

Good Morning Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi and let you know how my progress of sorting out my craft room's going.

I have more ribbons that I care to imagine here I have bought some plain glass jars from ASDA £1.00 each and have sorted into colours.
Blue & Green, Pink & Purple, Red, Yellow, Cream & Brown and Black and White.
On top of this I have a customised ribbon box with full rolls just to hand.

I estimate that this will take many weekends plugging away, and do watch out on ebay I will be selling loads to great gear to make space for new designs and materials.
This stamp from Inkadinkado will be on tomorrow for example.

Anyway having lunch with a dear friend of mind and her husband today then off to Penrith to see Ewan's Mum and Dad for like a milli-second, before they get the boat back to Ireland. They have been over to see Ewan's younger brother who is currently training to be in the Army!

So will check in with some fab cards later in the week.

Take Care Love Sarah xxx

ATC

Good Evening,

Here's a wee ATC that I designed for the ladies who attended my workshop last Sunday.

I have just fallen in love with the new Whitewash cardstock from Co-Ordinations. They come in pads 6" x 6" £3.99, 8" x 8" £5.99 or 12" x 12" £9.99 or single sheets Approx £0.60per sheet and are availiable from The Dawn Bibby Design Studio.

This is a very simple peice of work, just cuttlebug embossing folders, whitewash cardstock & a sanding tool. Add a few silver gems and a dash of pink ribbon.
Hope you like it?

Feeling better

Good Evening,
Just wanted to say a huge Thank you for all your very kind words and support over the past few days.
You are all just so great!!!!
It's been quite hard and to be honest I am now very angry!
However a great friend of mine Mandy Carter in her beautiful South African twang......."cum'on girl you need to let go and move on" they don't deserve any more of your time!
She's right I know!
So instead I have been busying myself designing some beautiful cards for some magazine work and my workshop tomorrow!
I'll post some cards not destined for Mag work over the next few days.
Lots of Love Sarah xxx

The Dawn Bibby Residential Weekend - the review

What a weekend?

Like the rest of the team I am shattered, I can't believe how fast the weekend has gone!
Ewan and I came back from holiday Thursday afternoon, and it was right into prep work until midnight, then prep all day Friday, meet and greet Friday night, classes all day Saturday, Party night Saturday night, Technique day all day Sunday.
Phew!
The things we do for the love of craft!

Anyway On Saturday I was teaching a fantastic bunch of ladies, Victoria, Sylvie, Amanda (aka Baby Giraffe) Felicity, Judy, Barbara, Marjorie, Helen, and Sue.

We all worked really hard, and has so much fun!

These events are great for meeting so many lovely new people.

Shout out to the FAB people on mine and Lindsay's dinner table on Saturday evening, and I am still convinced we were cheated out of a win in the quiz!

Thank you for my little Manx cat badge and pen, I am in the process of persuading Ewan to take a nice trip over to the Isle of Mann!!

Sunday was fun too, I was teaching my pretty distress card, this time I was on a table and people came to me, the set out on Sunday was great, each tutor was set up to teach our own designed card.

Here are some photo's from the weekend!

Me and "Baby G" having a great time Saturday night!
