Hope that you have had a nice weekend?
I had the most wonderful day yesterday! Spoilt rotten with kindness.
I spent the afternoon with my dear friend Carol Hutton at her home deep in the Ribble Valley.

Not only were we chatting, crafting and having a jolly good time, but she is a fantastic cook!
I know I live with a chef, but hey her Butternut Squash and Garlic Soup was to die for. Not to mention her home made cakes YES CAKESSSS! mmmm Cake!

I thought her cake was so nice and she very kindly gave me some to give to Ewan, he had a little try said it was fab, but then I couldn't resist scoffing another chunk for my supper!
