"All Loved Up" Card

Ingredients
White Linnen Card
Black Bazzil Bling
Black Card
Blonde Moments Bangers and Mash
US Artquest Paints
Versa Mark Pad and Pen
" Sweethearts" Rubber Stamps
"Sweet Somthings" Rubber Stamps
Clear Embossing powder
Black ink - Stazon
Gold Pigment Powders
Fibers/Ribbon
1) Trim an A4 peice of White Linnen Card in 1/2 to creat a tall slim card base
2) Trim Black Bazzil Bling to 20.00 x 6.5cm
Trim Bangers and Mash Paper to 19.5 x 6cm
3) With the Versamark Pen outline the hearts on the paper and dust over with the gold pigment powders
Ink up the Fluffy, Sparkle, Shine, smile stamp with Staz on and stamp in the top right hand corner

4) On the black card stamp 6 hearts with Versamark Ink Pad and heat set with clear embossing powder

5) Using the US Artwuest paints, colour in all the hearts - note that the embossing will act as a resist so painting will be made easy
Once dry cut out

6) Mat the Bangers and Mash Paper to the bazzil bling and attach to card base using 3d foam

7) attach the hearts ramdomly to the card alternating 3d foam and micro dots

8) Add Gold Ribbon and fibers to the fold in the card

Ingredients
All avaliable from The Dawn Bibby Design Studio:
Basic Grey Granola Patterned Paper 12 x 12
Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Paper 12 x 12
Dawn Bibby Designs Small Bronze Brads

Penny Black "Constalations" rubber Stamp
Hero Arts clear stamp designs "you made my day"

Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut stain
Black Archival Ink - Stazon
Tim Holtz Cut and Dry foam
& Gypsies circle stamp

White cards stock
A4 Peice of acitate
Scrap Bazzil card stock in a co-ordinating colour
Scrap piece of co-ordination ribbon
A few pearl gems

Cuttlebug die cut and embossed butterfly


1) Make a C5 base from an A4 peice of acitate, and score firmly

2) Trim down the Granola paper to 8.00 x 12.00cm and use a corner punch to round off edges
Trim down the Figgy Pudding paper to 9.00 x 14.00cm

3) Using the cut and dry foam ink the edges of both pieces of paper to create a distressed look

4) Ink up "Constalations Stamp" with Walnut Stain and stamp onto the front peice of paper

5) Using a scalloped circle punch, punch out of the co-ordinating bazzil card stock, and lightly distress the edges

6) Using the duttlebug Butterfly die and embossing folder, cut out with white cardstock, lightly ink edges

7) On a small white cardstock circle stamp the "7 Gypsies" circle and the "Hero Arts You Made My Day" ink edges

8) Attach the larger peices of paper to the inside of your acitate card using micro dots
Then attach the smaller peice to the front of the acitate card using brads

9) Wrap the ribbon roung the front peice and tie in a knott
Attach the Die cut butterfly (one wing only) with micro dots

10) Add some pearl gems to the body of the butterfly

Hero Arts New Catalog


The New Hero Arts Catalog is out, I am a hugh fan of Hero Arts rubber and clear stamps.
I cant wait to get my hands on some the these great new stamp designs.
I find their clear stamps so easy to use and store.
Perfect.....
I'm hoping Dawn can let me know all about the fantastic new designs when she returns form the 2009 Winter CHA in the USA.

Craft Club @ Dawn Bibby Design Studios



Every third Wednesday of every month, The Dawn Bibby Design Studio opens its doors
7.00pm - 9.00pm for like minded people to get together and craft.
Bring along your own supplies and tools, I always bring a few bits and pieces for people to try out too!
£2.50 per person
Refreshments and a Bicky will be provided.
