Making Cards Magazine & NEC

Good Morning All,
After an extremely busy weekend at the NEC, I am pleased to be home. Ewan is now home too, he's been in Edinburgh white water rafting and visiting family!
The NEC was great, I was demonstration my Fave ink pads, Tim Holtz Distress, Crafty Individual Stamps and Dereamweaver stencils with Guilding flakes and glitter, we had such a laugh myself, Hazel and Paul from Go Create was literally bent over giggling at poor David's expense - who is glued to his iPhone scrolling up and down endlessley trying to find our way to the resturant!!!
Anyway.........Just landed through my door yesterday was the latest edition of Making Cards Magazine, which I am pleased to say has TWO articles in by me!
One is in the Made for Men section using the fab Hero Arts Flower Brocade Background Stamp, mixed with Distress Inks and White Embossing Powder! Yummy!

Stamps, Ink Pads and The Embossing Powder are all available from the Dawn Bibby Design Studio

The Second article, using Spellbinders Nestabilities Blossom 1 and Dehlia building blooms, using Bloom and Grow collection from my minds eye.

You can locate the dies from Personal Impressions Stockists and the Collection Pack is from The Dawn Bibby Design Studio.
If you have a copy of this magazine, please feel free to leave any comments, here on my blog. Love to know what you think of them?
Untill next time,

Tommorrows Class

Good Evening All,

Just back from my trip to London, have been down in our capital this week attending a conference for work.

I couldn't believe how much warmer it was down south. I stayed at the Hilton on Edgware road W2 and it was fab. Not much time for sightseeing but, hey it was work! Did manage and hour chatting to my Brother-In-Law Eamon who is posted Near Buckingham Palace, her are all very proud of him, now he is a Scots Guardsman.....

Anyway here is a sneaky peek at some of the card we will be making in tomorrows class.

Spring lemons and creams.................

Also looking forward to a day with the girls at the Harrogate paper crafts show....... must be good must be good........................
