Workshop Saturday 26th September 2009

Good Morning bloggers,
Just a quick one, I have two spaces left on my workshop this Saturday 26th September at the DB Design Studio.
We'll be using some great techniques including triple embossing, sanding and stamping on glass and gloss card resist.
Using some of the wonderful new ranges from Cosmo Cricket, Bo Bunny and Lindsay Mason.
As they get booked up so quickly, this will be a super opportunity to get on one of my classes before next year!
Love to see you there
Happy Crafting

Harrogate Papercrafts Extravaganza & Eamon

Good Evening All,
Had a great weekend with my brother-in-law Eamon, he came down to visit us from Darlington where he lives just now.
Saturday we all went to the Harrogate Papercrafts Extravaganza show, I say we I mean me, Ewan and Eamon went for a nice walk around Harrogate while I spent time looking and buying new crafting goodies and chatting away!.
I purchased a few new Penny Black Rubber Stamps, fantasy 3880K, Adornment 3996J and Joy, hop 3028F and I am having a play with them tonight using Dew Drop ink pads and stardust stickles. Will post some photos later.
I also couldn't stop myself from buying this new punch from EK success, it's called the binding edge! I just seem so into punches just now, I think it's because the designs & technology has goten better and you can use them with card. My faves are the Martha Stewart ones, mmmm delish.
While at the show bumped into the lovely Kirsty Wiseman http://www.limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com/, she is adorable, I haven't see her for ages so was great to catch up.
Watch out for her on QVC at the next craft day, she will be showcasing her new Patti Picklissious CD.
Saturday night was a bit crazy, unlike the stay at home couple we now are, Eamon encouraged us to go clubbing till 4am. Sunday was a bit of a waste, sleeping in and hanging around the house, although sometimes that's just what one needs!
Anyway me thinks it's time of Holby City, really the only program I watch regular apart from X Factor & SCD.
So tomorrows the big day, I'll be drawing the Blog Candy name tomorrow and someone with be having a fab weekend with there new stash!
Catch you later,

Tonight

Evening Everyone,
Just a quick post tonight, Dorothy, Margaret and Serena all popped over to my house tonight as I was having a clear out of crafting goodies, stamps, papers, paints, scrapbook albums and much more.
I am saving for a new craft desk so I thought it was a great idea to get some crafters round for a good old chat with a nice cuppa and a brownie a la Ewan.
We had a great laugh, and I managed to get a few quid in the pot towards my new desk, or should that be for Harrogate on Sunday????
It's a great idea to have a good clear out now and then, selling items that you no longer use, it gives other a change to grab that discontinued stamp and have a bash at a great price.
I'll be having another next month, when I get round to sorting another of my cabinets from my craft room out.

I'll post nearer the time with a date.
don't forget to look at my debut You Tube video, just search my name on You Tube and let me know what you think.
Have a lovely evening,

Take Care,

Heather Fenn-Edwards ATC.......

Afternoon Everyone,
Well as if I wasn't excited enough about Lindsay's ATC, just got in after work and this beauty was waiting for me.

I must thank Heather so much for this work of art it's called "Magdelane The Gypsy Girl" and it is lovely.

Check Heather out at http://fennedwards.blogspot.com/

I especially like the hint of Bohemia about it, and Ewan always calls me his little Gypsy Princess so I LOVE it wish I could keep both ATC's from Lindsay and Heather. I might just ask for a swap next time I see them.......
Anyway I'll post photos of my whimsical Christmas cards later when I'm back from the Gym....
Catch you later,

Anyway my brother Christopher has this very minute phoned to ask for a card, and he will be round later to pick it up...... so better crack on eh?
